For six decades, Toyota WA has been the wholesale distributor of Toyota vehicles and genuine parts and now services a dealer network spread from Esperance in the south to Kununurra in the far north.

Toyota vehicles arrive by ship into the Port of Fremantle from where they are driven to Toyota WA’s state-of-the-art vehicle distribution centre in Kewdale.

In this facility they go through the process of pre-delivery, including ensuring they comply with Australian standards and are fitted with Toyota genuine accessories before being delivered to dealer locations in the Perth metropolitan area and across regional WA.

The team at the vehicle distribution centre is also responsible for a range of other activities including overseeing the high-quality standards demanded of all Toyota dealerships, ongoing training to dealership staff including technician, marketing support and warranty administration.

TOYOTA WA — PARTS AND ACCESSORIES

Currently located immediately adjacent to the vehicle distribution, is the Parts and Accessories Distribution Centre. It is here that parts and accessories imported into WA are catalogued, stored and distributed daily to the dealer network.

By the start of 2025, the Parts business is expected to transition into a new facility three times the size of the current operation and fitted with the very latest in material handling technology including advanced automation. The construction of the new purpose-built distribution and logistics centre commenced in 2023 on a large industrial lot on the corner of Miles and Kewdale Roads (a short distance from the existing operation).

Toyota WA also houses Perron Group Information Services Division which manages the range of advanced technology platforms that enable the most efficient management of the company’s vehicle and parts distribution business as well as providing IT support services Group-wide.
